Holiday in Death product reviews

No one likes to be alone during the holidays. For New York's most posh dating service, Personally Yours, it is the season to bring lonely hearts together. But Lieutenant Eve Dallas, on the trail of a ritualistic serial killer, has made a disturbing discovery: all of the victims have been traced to Personally Yours.

As the murders continue, Eve enters into an elite world of people searching for their one true love--and a killer searching for his next victim. A world where the power of love leads men and women into the ultimate act of betrayal...

Murder never takes a break even for Christmas, we learn that Eve has never had a proper holiday but she is learning fast. The victims are linked and this time it was easy to see the link, the people who had the information Eve needed were slightly annoying and they were hiding g a huge secret.

The story as usual had some interesting twists and it is great to see that Eve made mistakes and assumptions, some were right and some were wrong, but no matter what she did her job to the best of her ability.

Although I enjoy reading a great crime drama I am glad that this is not my job, the books are well written and I can imagine I am actually there and all without leaving the comfort of my chair. The characters are as usual well written and we learn a bit more about some of the characters and now I am wondering how much longer before Eve is going to do something about the nightmares and if Eve and Roarke are ever going to have children or has their horrific past experiences put them off parenthood?

I am going to be reading the rest of these books as Nora Roberts is a great author even when she has changed her writing style and normal subject matter.

Murder never takes a break, and Christmas is no exception. A killer is on the loose, he has murdered a young woman and left a clue that tells Dallas that there is going to be eleven more victims (12 Days of Christmas). The clues point to a dating agency, Personally Yours, and the race is on to stop the killer before he can claim his eleven more victims.

When it comes to characters we have drama going on between friends and we have more growth from Dallas as she tries to figure out this Christmas deal, when Christmas used to be just another day for Dallas. I was fun to see Dallas trying to work things out and what Christmas now means for her.

The killer is well written and I didn't know who it was until the reveal, which is a good thing, makes for a better book. I really enjoyed this book, and as always enjoy the character development. Shall continue to read the series.
