He looked at his hands, covered with her blood, at the spreading pool of red on the floor, the wild spatters of it on the walls. An artist, he mused. Maybe he should be an artist. This book is set around Thanksgiving, so the title is rather apt for this round in the series. Eve is nervous, preparing for the onslaught of Roarke's family for the holiday when a husband and wife are found brutally murdered. Right from the start the police know who the killer is, the hard part... Trying to work out his motivation behind it and then once they've worked it out.... Figuring out just who is on the killers hit list and in what order, so that they can stop him before it's too late.
There are some clever moments in the movie as they try to hunt him down but also the cleverness of one his victims and how she attempts to help the police despite knowing that she might die. There is a rather heart warming moment in the book involving Nixie Swisher from "Survivor in Death" and seeing how her life is now and a lovely showing for Eve as to how she has affected many lives for the better. This is still a rather slow book at times and after the last book, this one had me questioning if I was going to enjoy the next book or not. There were some nice moments in this book but overall not the best in the series.

The Thea Sisters are thrilled about the new performing arts program being offered at Mouseford Academy. That is, until they meet the head of the department, the demanding and strict Professor Ratyshnikov. The mouselets will have to audition just to get into her class. On top of that, the famouse ballerina is an old friend of Headmaster de Mousus, but the two no longer get along. It is up to the Thea Sisters to find out why.
