With Christmas approaching quickly, I was on the lookout for more Christmas themed childrens books and DVDs. When I noticed that there was a PJ Masks Christmas DVD available to request, I thought that would be perfect, as my three children are avid PJ Masks fans. Thankfully we were chosen toreview, so wehad a happy household.

The DVD cover stands out well, and there is no mistaking the PJ Masks logo. Taking up most of the remainder of space you can see Catboy, Gekko and Owlette smiling, with Christmas presents and a Christmas tree in the background. The reverse of the DVD case states that there are 7 episodes with a total running time of approximately 84 minutes. While waiting for the DVD to load, the children tried to guess what they thought the PJ Mask team would be rescuing at Christmas time.

The catchy theme song had us singing along to the tune as we awaited seeing what kind of trouble the team had to solve, the team go on their missions at night to save the day. The animation is well done, the colours are eye-catching and vibrant, and the storyline for each episode flows nicely. The children decided that they particularly enjoyed the episode which had Owlette and Catboy competing to be the best at winning everything. I wondered if my children felt a personal connection to this storyline hehe, the episode showed how if you continue to compete against others, it can jeopardize friendships and teamwork. My two year old was in fits of giggles whenever he saw the tricky Ninjalinos, following the conclusion of the final episode, my children decided they would each be a PJ Mask character, this resulted in some funny situations.

I highly recommend PJ Masks: Hello Christmas to anyone with young children, I believe that it would be best aimed at 2-8 year olds. As a parent I was impressed that it teaches the importance of teamwork, kindness and friendship, we are eagerly awaiting to see what adventures Catboy, Gekko and Owlette embark on next.

Product image for Pyro Professionals Choice packDesigned by Kiwis, for Kiwis, this pack is aimed at the serious whizzzz-BANG enthusiast.

Great for larger-area displays where the sharp reports will reach even the furthest audience members' ears, and echo off buildings with style, and the projectiles will light up the night sky as they leave trails of fire behind them, to expire in bursts of brilliant colour.
