This is yet another great kids meal from the Pitango Kids Range. At 200grams it is a great size meal for a hungry toddler and is full of good nutrition such as real breast chicken and vegetables and basmati rice. The great thing is you can actually see the chunks of white chicken and the vegetables and grains of rice.
I like that the chicken is organic and free range, I am not strict on sticking to organic products or free range chicken but think that you can taste the difference. We have free range chickens here and I think their eggs are so much nicer than supermarket bought eggs. The bits of chicken are cut up nice and small so they are easy for little ones to chew and have that nice chicken breast or shredded chicken texture.
The curry sauce has a nice taste it is very mild for a curry which is great for little kids as it will not be too hot for their little mouths. I did not really notice the apple but it did have a nice sweet taste because of the coconut milk and the sauce was nice and creamy. The rice and vegetables were nice and tender too. My son really liked this meal and I will definetly keep it on the supermarket list for days when we have been super busy.
