The director of Bend It Like Beckham invites you to enjoy a dark comedy about the murderous lengths to which a mother will go. When her efforts to marry off her dowdy daughter are dashed, Mrs Sethi's focus turns from matchmaking to revenge. The series of spicy murders have London police baffled - among them DS Raj Murthy.
Her victims cannot be reincarnated until their killer dies and Mrs Sethi can't leave this world until her daughter is properly settled - and so the spirits pitch in to help her find a suitable husband for Roopi. Will there be wedding bells before the next funeral march?

When I found out i had a chance to review this movie, I thought it was great. A mother going to murderous lengths for her daughter now that seems interesting and my type of movie to watch.
Put this on and sat down to watch the 100mins of movie, its starts off with a guy being fed food and then well i cant say what happens but the mother is on the warpath, with no-one knowing what she is doing or why she is doing it. The daughter is overweight and seems no-one wants to date her, she does like her food though. As the movie goes on the mother looks crazy talking to herself and trying hard to get her daughter a husband, and protecting the daughter with any measures she can. Without saying too much the police start looking at the daughter as a suspect.
I didn't find the movie scary but I did find bits and pieces funny in places, its got a good story line and doesn't jump all over the place its easy to follow and keep up with. Its definitely a movie you dont really watch while kids are about, it is a M for 16 years and over with drug use and violence in it.
You will need to watch it to find out what goes on with this movie, the twists and turns, and of course to find out what happens in the end....cats got my tongue ![]()
