Bones Never Lie product reviews

A girl vanishes, a killer returns, a cold case comes back to haunt Dr Tempe Brennan.

When girls start to go missing, it seems the only killer to ever get away from Temperance Brennan has come back. But when evidence survives, no secret can ever be safe.

Unexpectedly called into the Charlotte PD's cold case unit, Dr Temperance Brennan wonders why she's been asked to meet with a homicide cop who's a long way from his jurisdiction. The answer is shocking: two child murders separated by thousands of miles, have one thing in common - the killer.

Can Brennan rise to the challenge and make good on her second chance to stop a psychopath?

If you love the story's about Dr Tempe Brennan, you will love this book. I have a slightly over active imagination so can't read books like this too late at night or I wind up picturing them happening and hearing lots of strange noises in the night. I can't put a book like this down however so wind up with a rather large catch 22.

Kathy Reich's has a way of transporting you to the crime scene and you can almost feel yourself rubbing your temples as Tempe does. The vivid and descriptive manner of the writing is rather heartbreaking, what causes a person to be able to write like that? Tempe goes back a long way with most of the staff and one thing I really love is that you can pick up any book and not have to have read the others to keep up. You can start with anyone of them and enjoy.

The cover is haunting and the writing is straight to the point, no long blog about what the book is about. At 44 chapters long, this is a healthy size and not one for the bath. Reading the acknowledgements, Kathy has as always done her homework with everyone who matters to provide us with yet another factual book.

I personally hope she never stops writing.

But without a strong Queen who remembers the Old Ways, the Blood will never shake off the lingering influence of Dorothea SaDiablo, the infamous High Priestess of Hayll, and the young Dena Nehele Queens will have no one to teach them.
