I have always enjoyed the Ripley's books, having gotten a couple in the past when they were on special so I was very happy to see that I had gotten this to read and review.
The last two books that I bought came out so close to each other that it just felt like a repeat going from one to the other, so it has been a couple of years since I have owned one, going through this book I was happy to see that I hadn't heard most of the trivia and facts in here before. There are 136 pages of random trivia in this book (having taken away the title page, contents and index) with plenty of color and bright and bold picture, easy to read and even better is that you don't have to read it all in one go, you can easily take your time with it.
My children, seven, five and three, all enjoyed having a look through the book, pointing out the animals that they recognized and eagerly throwing out questions wanting to know how someone did something or more importantly with some of the pages, why? I've really enjoyed reading this, it is perfect for someone with limited reading abilities or the concentration to read a long story, so I've really enjoyed the tidbits of information in this book and look forward to the next one.
