This is quite a neat little story, and my young son loves to read it. I admit, with a shameful blush, that the little tyke had grabbed it off my desk and after giving it a quick read thru himself and deciding it was a good book, stuck it in his little library... so I should have reviewed this one a while back. It's quite age-friendly, but due to a potentially troublesome bit near the end, it may not be suitable for very young kids who form quick attachments to chickens. Overall, a pretty good kids story... nothing spectacular in the way of story, but some great artwork. Great for young kids to read for themselves.
