LEGO Duplo Creative Animals Product reviews...
How do you keep a child occupied on a 24 hour flight to the UK and the return to NZ?
Usually, not very easily.
My last two trips involved taking wads of paper and crayons, which are bulky and quite heavy, and really do not keep a child that long. The books and films do not hold her attention that long; and let's face it, who really wants to be parked in a seat for the entire trip?
So, what hope does taking a Klutz Building Cards have?
Well, rather surprisingly, it worked. I didn't hear much from my daughter during the whole trip. She rapidly unpacked the cards and got to making all manner of spacecraft. First some of the suggested ones in the book; then quickly expanding her repertoire by inventing her own spacecraft. In fact, during both of the flights to the UK, she barely even stopped to eat (unless she was asleep at the time).
The cards are surprisingly sturdy and will stand a fair amount of abuse. The only niggle I have is that the attached container that the cards came in work pretty much to supply the cards. Unless one is really careful putting the cards back in the same manner as they came, they don't go back too easily - especially if you are trying to pack in a hurry.
That aside, this book (along with the others in the series) will amuse and entertain your child for quite some time.

This lovely little puppy barks when his nose is touched. Each paw has a signature sound, and he squeaks when jiggled. His bone also crinkles. A great favourite!
