Product reviews...
I have been a Muppet fan for nearly as long as I can recall, and now my 6 year old son has caught the Muppet bug too, which bring joy to my heart. Classic, kid-safe comedy that doesn't involve fairy godparents, cats with wierd headgear, or mutant creatures with 1960's language skills... great stuff for today's new generation.
This Muppet movie takes a new look at the classic Wizard of Oz story and gives it a twist in a way only they can, with wacky humour, layers of jokes for kids and adults alike, and some truely enchanting songs cropping up everywhere. Yes, this IS a musical, so if you are expecting more of a movie format, you might find yourself groaning a bit... but give it a try, you just might like it.
With familiar faces popping up all over the place, and of course all the famous Muppets making an appearance (even good old Swedish Chef makes a cameo) you'll just fall in love with it.
Overall, well worth the effort and cost if you are a Muppet lover... if not, give it a go and find out what you are missing.
