Bonnie & Clyde is a 2013 Mini Television Series
Though Bonnie Parker (Holliday Grainger, Jane Eyre) and Clyde Barrows (Emile Hirsch, Into The Wild) crime spree is legendary, their story has never been told quite like this. Fuelled by their passion for each other and Bonnie's passion for fame, the couple committed increasingly dangerous robberies, leaving a trail of blood and headlines behind them. Aided by Clyde's sixth sense, they stayed one step ahead of the law until their final, fatal showdown. Also starring Academy award winners Holly Hunter and William Hurt. Bonnie & Clyde is powerful, gripping entertainment.

As a huge fan of the Bonnie and Clyde story I was keen to review this and excited to be chosen. I love the image on the DVD and the "Ride or Die" approach to their relationship.
I expected the DVD to be set as a series but it was start to finish and seemed to be another movie. It was action packed, and told the story a little differently to how I have seen it portrayed before. I liked the acting and they did a great job telling the story of Bonnie and Clyde although I found it a little less gritty and rough than I would have liked. I particularly like Bonnie's mother, she was great.
I don't think the series was as good as it could of been as it strayed far from the original story of Bonnie and Clyde but it was still very much watchable and I would watch it again although I would not go out of my way to see it. So apart from being quite inaccurate the movie still had it's moments and was enjoyable.
Without spoiling the film I will say the end was rather disappointing! Ok for a wet, windy day!

A jaw-dropping thriller starring Liam Neeson as an unlikely hero forced to lead a group of men, in their fight to survive, when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. They must battle injuries, merciless weather and a vicious pack of wolves - before their time runs out.
