A friend of mine let her daughter pick what boardgame they should get me, for my birthday a couple of years ago and this was the result. When I got it, I wasn't too sure about it, it wasn't a game that I had played before but I had one that was similar (pictures and hexagon shaped), but I looked forward to giving it a go. A couple of years later and this is still a game that gets brought out once a month or so, mostly it is my friend and I playing against each other but occasionally one of our kids joins in which adds little extra difficulty to the game and risk of higher scores for those who go out.
The premise is simply enough, place one of your tiles down so that one side matches up with the corresponding tile already placed down. This can get a bit frustrating at times if your numbers are correct but the wrong way around. There are two possible bonuses you can get, one is if you manage to complete a hexagon, the other if you manage to complete a bridge, both of which are hard to manage as the numbers must match up at all possible intercepts and so the point reward is well worth it. My friend and I have spent a good portion of time muttering to ourselves and complaining that the numbers are the wrong way around, but we keep coming back.
