This is one of the few movies that I grew up with that I love just as much today as I did back when I watched it as a child. Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town but he's starting to wonder if there is more, and why does he feel so empty. One day when out on a walk he finds doorways to other places and he ends up in the North Pole. He falls in love with Christmas and decides to take over it.

While I grew up watching this, I don't think that my five year old (or younger children) would enjoy this movie yet as some of the creatures that inhabit Halloween Town are a bit scary, but when they're a little older they can join me for my yearly viewing of this sometime during the week before Christmas.

Jack's Lament is my favourite song in this movie and in fact I enjoy it a lot more than most Disney movies songs. This movie has some fun songs but Jack's Lament and What's This are the best two of the movie. I highly recommend this movie.

Product image for The Curse of the Weeping WomanIn 1970s Los Angeles, La Llorona is stalking the night - and the children. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, a social worker and her own small kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm.

Their only hope to survive La Llorona's deadly wrath may be a disillusioned priest and the mysticism he practices to keep evil at bay, on the fringes where fear and faith collide.
