Let the blood of the wicked...
...quench your thirst for battle!
From birth, you've toiled in the fields, poor yet proud. But the evil king Krugs destroyed it all: your farm, your family, your firends. As something inside you dies, something else awakens - a warrior with a burning need for revenge.
As you battle your way through a vast world of mountains, deserts, ice caverns and dungeons, you'll forge a fearsome party to fight the forces of evil. But beware: as your power increases, so does the intensity of the combat!

This game raised the benchmark for real time strategy games. With its stunning graphics, unique environments and immersive game play, Microsoft is onto a winning formula.
But what makes dungeon siege different from the rest out there, I mean there's a lot of games out there where you run around killing people watch it makes this game stand out from the rest for me it's the attention to detail the way the leaves rustle in the wind and all the little animals scurry around, not to mention the copious amounts of blood left behind when you cleave your enemies head in two. And add to this the unique ability to have other members join you on your quest, you have all the makings of an enjoyable and immensely replayable game.
The difficulty setting of this game is just right, it's not so easy that you breeze through within half an hour and not too difficult that you give up after playing six hours straight and having only moved a fraction way into the game. I do have issues with the fact that there is one path and one path only you can take, The option of some deviations from the standard course would have vastly improved The replayability of game.
I now await the expansion pack for this delightful game 'Legends of Arrana', which we will review here as soon as we could have grubby mitts on it.
