Having used Word 2003 for a number of years and liking it I was forced to update to the new Word 2007 due to the office upgrading it's Office Suite from 2003 to 2007 and like many other people I was quite startled and slightly lost with the new look User Interface. I was muddling my way through using it when the chance to review this book came up and having used other Dummies books before I leapt at the chance and I was not disappointed.
It covers all the essentials that I was used to from the previous versions of Word as well as highlighting some of the new features that I hadn't yet experimented with yet.
While this book does seem to be aimed at the first time Word user, and not someone who has upgraded from a previous version of Word, this is still worthwhile if even to refresh your memory.
Oh and the fabulous 'The Fifth Wave' cartoons are once again present and just as good as ever.

The Vampiresons are just your everyday family... Yes, they fly around the neighbourhood on wings. Yes, they live in a crumbling bell tower and have a fruit bat for a pet. Yes, Vonda's sticky toffee sauce has everyone sticking to everything. And yes, a shark's giant false teeth are missing and no-one knows where they've gone! But that's nothing out of the ordinary, right?
