Ginger, you either love it or hate it. I myself like it. I am not really sure if my family do, or if they just humor me lol either way they are used to it appearing randomly in their food, especially during winter when it is colder and all those nasty bugs are doing the rounds. I use it mostly in added to soups and cabbage, and admit that I do not really get to creative when it comes to ginger.
I used to buy fresh ginger all the time, but then I (blush) would be a little confused as to what parts of the ginger you used, the best way to prepare it to use, and if I did it wrong you would end up with really big chunks of ginger in your food. For some (like myself) this was fine, but for others apparently that is not really a fun experience haha
So I started buying this ginger. It is so much easier than preparing fresh ginger. Just open the lid and use. And it goes such a long long way too. You get heaps and heaps for only a couple of dollars. And it is really perfect for adding to the cabbage too. No whinging kids, and it tastes super yummy too. For people more creative in the kitchen I am sure you could do a whole lot more with this than I do, and truly appreciate the product more than I do too. But either way I love it!
