We always have a jar of crushed garlic in the fridge. We also always have fresh garlic too, but as is the sad fact for many of us these days, we need products (of all kinds) to be easy to use, non time consuming, and when it comes to food, full of flavour, value for money (so the more you get for your buck the better), and of course cheap.
My family, now they are older (especially my teenage boys), are lazy cooks lol so anything quick and easy bursting with flavour they love. Home made pizzas, garlic bread, wraps, eggs, noodles and the like....and they will add crushed garlic to it all. It is versatile and its super easy. Twist off the lid and you are good to go. For busy teen boys that is what matters the absolute most to them.
For me, I find it a really great addition to home made soups and stews, and its really nice to add to roasted meat and vegetables. If you like making marinades then its great for them too. It has a very very potent garlic smell though, so if you're not a lover of the smell of garlic then you will probably be better to stick with crushing your own
The price varies depending on the size of the jar you buy, but even the smallest jar goes a really long way, so it is definitely a value for money product.
