Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a hilarious comedy about a pair of harmless hillbillies who are mistaken for vicious serial killers. Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) are headed towards their newly acquired dream 'summer home' when they save the life of a gorgeous college student (Katrina Bowden) who's camping in the woods with some friends. Before long a series of misunderstandings leads to Tucker and Dale being labelled psycho killers by the holidaying students. The situation quickly turns for the worse with ghastly but hilarious consequences.

What would happen if all of those horror movies of college kids dying in various, gory ways was all just some huge misunderstanding and a tonne of fatal accidents? Tucker and Dale vs Evil explores this very idea with hilarious results. Tucker and Dale have headed into the woods to fix up their new summer home, they rescue a young woman but they are mistaken as her attackers and the other teens set off to 'rescue' her, what follows is a regular bloodbath as they die in stereotypical ways with plenty of humor to boot.
There are some special effects in this, there couldn't not be with the amount of gory deaths happening and even a couple of explosions going on. The acting is cheesy and doesn't need to be fantastic yet our leads playing Tucker and Dale do a wonderful job and you can see them as these stupid, naive, bumbling fools who just happen to be wrong place wrong time and in some ways rather lucky as had their timing been off they would have been dead. There are a good few laughs, spoofing plenty of horror movies that have been and gone and even the ones to come since most follow a similar formula.
A fun movie for anyone who likes horror movies and comedy movies.
