The cover really screamed to me, something different it screamed, you need to read it. I gave it a quick look though and the pictures were WOW for a factor and just took my breath away. So we had to sit down and read it, the words are simple and easy to read even for my 6 year old daughter who was happy to help read it with me.
While I was reading I was thinking OMG this king is rude and mean and then my daughter stated that he has no manners and she didn't like him. All because he wanted a moon dragon and he was going to do anything to get one including giving a room of something away to the person that can get him one (you will have to find out what the king is giving away). Can Alina do it, a very small peasant girl, you will have to read to find out what she actually does.
I thought this book was good with some lessons that you pick up throughout, manners can get you places, sadly it also teaches if you have everything you can give something for people to do things for you, I don't really believe in that but when your the king I guess you can do whatever. I do however love the ending of the story and the reason behind it and my kids did too. Some thing are more important than others sometimes.
Sadly the price is way to high for what I would pay for a book like this, the max would be $20 If it was to come on special I would be happy to have a look at getting it as a present for a birthday or Christmas.
