I love falafel and would eat it once a week if I could! My sister makes the best falafel and has tried teaching me how to make it but mine never turns out so I resort to buying these pre made mixes when I want to make falafel for dinner. The convenience factor is great anyway as it is a bit of a lengthly process soaking the chick peas and blending it all up in the food processor, so if it is quick and easy I am happy.
I don't normally buy this brand, I usually buy the Olive Tree brand but this was on special so I decided to give it a go. The tub was a lot smaller I only managed to make 8 average sized falafels out of the whole tub and I had a hungry family so had to improvise to stretch it out a bit when I bought this one. We would normally have 3 falafels per wrap if we were serving them that way.
Because the tub was small I decided to buy it to make my kids dinner, that way they could have four each. We went completely untraditional and made a meal with french fries and falafel made into nugget shapes. The kids had some Barkers peach and mango chutney to dip their food in and they were happy with that so it was a pretty cost effective dinner for the kids.

Using lean chicken breast, we've created a mild but flavoursome Thai curry perfect for the whole family. Using delicious spices, coconut cream and kaffir limes, this My Main Course meal starter is so fragrant you'll find it hard to get it to the table before trying it.
