This is a wonderful book. I would class it as an introduction into novels for children as it has it's own little chapters.
This book can either be read to a small child 4 to 7yrs or read all on the child's own from 7+ i feel. The story itself is a great topic that children need to have an understanding of. Stranger Danger. However this story is told in a light hearted way as it isn't intending to scare young children.
There are still plenty of pictures in this book so i found it was a great way to transition children from picture books to the next level up.
There are plenty of funny moments in this story, and moments that could scare little children if they scare easily, so i would recommend reading this book first to see if your young child would cope.
It is awesome that it is a Kiwi Product! We all love to see fellow Kiwis doing well.
