This book is easy to understand. At a guess I would recommend it for the age of 5+. The stories can be started a little younger, but the bingo and word search games definately require the child to have learnt or be learning to read.

I really like the fact the stories can be cut out to be reused, and also the flash cards can be cut out and laminated for continuous use.

The only thing I could suggest as an improvement to the book, is to make the book have coloured pages. Since it is all black and white it looks very bland and uninteresting - colour would definately liven it up.

Product reviews for listing 768: Sil: a novel
Written by Jill Harris

Product image for Sil: a novelSil is a rising star among tuis; a brilliant singer and talented composer. For him the annual singing competitions loom large.

Daredevil Bron is Sil's best friend who tells it like it is. They've got a good thing going. But a sense of menace closes in as magpies plot to devastate the valley.

The tui way of life - flying free and singing in the dawn - is about to be destroyed.
