Now I've used and abused many memory stick / flash drives / removable storage devices, or whatever else you wish to call them and this is one of the better ones I've had the fortune to use. For starters it stands out from the others with a delightful red colour (I now note that another brand is starting to colour their products as well.)
Now this wee beauty is also ReadyBoost ready, and for those of you fortunate enough to run Vista this is indeed a handy little feature. Whilst I cannot vouch for everybody running Vista, I found I got up to a 5% increase in overall system performance, so this alone was worth it.
However, having been an owner of another company's model that just didn't survive what I've thrown it through, the construction of this device gives every indication that it will survive most things I can do to it. However, time will tell.
So if you're trying to decide what brand to go for, you can't really go past Verbatim.
