I couldn't wait when the box arrived, would it live up to my expectations?... In a word YES. As always SWANN is onto another winner here.
This packages comes with SWANN's already proven Max-I-Swann USB 2.0 Webcam and bundles it with some really good software that allows you to see what's going on in front of your camera no matter where in the world you are (as long as you have a compatible phone).
There are a plethora of Alert options that can be set, from a standard email to a MMS (multimedia messaging service), although as each alert will cost you it is advisable to not set this camera in an area where it is likely to be activated often. However if you don't wish to be alerted these can be turned off, you can still view your camera's output via a webpage using either your phone or a PC.
As this setup will require access to your PC from the net I recommend you use a good firewall configured correctly to allow your camera to function without letting any nasty people into your system.
Overall this is one device I can see having wide ranging applications.
