As a parent, the whole concept of your child going missing is hard enough to deal with, but when no-one else claims to have seen the child, and thoughts go from "The poor dear..." to "Oh heck, another nutter..." I can only imagine the trauma this would cause.

The movie itself was quite well done, and I enjoyed the bonus extras, and despite it provoking parental fears, the movie itself progressed along really well, with the only 'quiet time' right at the start of the movie.

Overall, not one of my all-time favourite Jody Foster movies, but certainly one of the most compelling thrillers I have seen in a long while. When I eventually end up taking my son for a flight, I am going to be a lot more aware of keeping a very close eye on him, and making sure the digital camera has shots of us together in the plan, and our boarding passes.
