How Far Would You Go To Save The Family Business?
Inspired by the true story of a traditional English men's footwear factory in Northamptonshire which turned to production of kinky boots for transvestites in order to save the ailing family business and safeguard the jobs of the local community. This delightful cast, brings back to the screen an excellent, entertaining, funny, and heart felt movie likened to The Full Monty phenomenon!

"Change your mind about someone."
Kinky Boots is based upon the true story about a mens shoe factory that starts to make boots for transvestites. Charlie is a man who has finally managed to leave the small town he grew up in only for his father to die. He returns and looks at finding a way to keep the factory going. He meets Lola (George when not dressed up) and together they set about making boots that are both sexy and will hold the weight of a man.
This is full of drama as Charlie tries to figure out exactly where he sits and if the small town is really where he wants to end up. Lola has to deal with those who aren't comfortable with transvestites, one in particular, who Lola gives the task of "Change your mind about someone". But there are a couple of good laughs in the movie, just enough to make it enjoyable without detracting from the overall thing.
Kinky Boots is a wonderful movie, and I highly suggest you watch it at least once.
