Share the suspense as Sam and Dean travel back roads and highways using the secret skills their father taught them to confront a nightmare array of spirits. Turn out the lights and bolt the door. I started to watch season two on TV, following on from the previous, but due to us cancelling Sky I needed a new way to watch my favorite brotherly duo and thus was happy when I discovered it on Netflix. Season Two takes off straight where the previous seasons cliffhanger left us and it is once again a battle to live. One thing that I do rather like is that they don't restrict themselves to one religion, featuring Rakshasa, a demon of Hindu mythology, during this season. The characters are also very human, they might kick butt but they are dealing with their very real emotions, Sam and his fears of what is happening to him and Dean over their father and this makes me like them even more.

There are some good moments in the season, I do love how they get back at Gordon and trick him into being arrested as well as "Tall Tales" which features urban legends being made into reality (I have a soft spot for urban legends so enjoyed this episode). "Hollywood Babylon" was one of the more entertaining episodes in this season and so far remains one of my top five episodes, especially as a break from more of the heavier stuff and "What Is and What Should Never Be" explores more of what could have been had the brothers lives been different and how much allure the safe, peaceful life can hold.

It's interesting to read that it was at this point the show was nearly cancelled, but as most will know, the show is doing very well and hit double digits for the number of seasons it has.
