Now this is a shop I could seriously damage the credit-limit of my creditcard in. Smile Icon I have a 'thing' for good, Anglo-style dragon figurines and statuettes... and the range was very impressive in this store. however, it's a new business, starting up on a low budget, so though the range is great, it's really a case of "if you see it and want it, but it now, because there might not be another one for a while." This is not always a bad thing at all, as it means the new stocks are always flowing through and every visit could present you with a new treasure.

The woman behind the counter was wonderful, leaving me alone to browse the stock, even not freaking when I grabbed a $90 dragon winestand... either a trusting soul indeed, or she could tell I had no plans to let it break, and was taking care not to allow the possibility. She was even OK with my son wandering around. he knows not to touch without asking forst. For his efforts, he was presented with a lollipop 'as long as he kept his hands in his pockets...' which he did happily.

After a great stuggle with the mental budget, I left with a great deal... a 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil' trio of dragon figurines for a mere $14! A total bargain. And as a stunning gesture, she rewarded my son with one of her own creations, a small crouching dragon with a photo-clip sticking out of it's back... a novelty picture stand! Very well made, i would easily have paid $15 for it at a craft show without batting an eyelid.

Now don't every rush in demanding free dragon picture stands... gifts don't rain down, they are given for reasons. If you are meant to get one I am sure you will, but no expectations or demands please.

Overall, I know that as and when the finances allow, I'll be back there for more. Time to finish building that display case I think... as the rate of business grows, I know I will see dramatic changes from this shop, all good ones. It's worth dropping in to, right opposite Central Normal School.
