This book is a level 2 reader book for 5-7 year olds, my daughter is 5 but it is a little hard for her to read at the moment. She will get their with practice and with a book so brightly coloured with great images she will learn a lot before she actually reads it. Its full of facts about sharks, where they live and more.

It also has a fun digital book with it, that you just download offline it has a unique code inside the book you can use. you get access to quizzes about the fun that is full of knowledge and lots of fun activities. My almost 4 year old boy loves looking at the pictures he doesnt care too much about the words or the facts but this is great learning too as he will ask certain things.

This book also has a glossary with simple understanding for words though the book along with an index to find what the children are looking for. Its great for parents too as you learn with your child.

Sharks, something that interests a lot of young people, my four year old and five year old are no different. Straight away this catches the eyes with one singular, large, shark on the front cover.

Shark Attack! is full of pages that really draw you into the book using a range of computer generated images and real life photographs. My sons favourite page was where it showed close up image of some vital parts of a sharks body as well as the teeth, lots and lots of very sharp teeth.

My personal favourite page was about how humans are the sharks biggest threat. Whilst the visual may be a little disconcerting for some, it is a fact that needs to be considered and I'm glad it is mentioned in an age appropriate way. There's also a code to download a free digital book, just make sure you have the latest adobe installed or it won't even open.

This is a good, informative book that is fun at the same time, one that really has my kids asking lots of questions.
