Once again the future is at stake. This time Bill and Ted must win Battle of the Bands. Their girlfriends have become good musicians but Bill and Ted still suck. A man from the future, who detests Bill and Ted, goes back in time with two evil robot look-a-likes to kill off good Bill and Ted so that they never win Battle of the Bands. Good Bill and Ted team up with Death in a bid to defeat evil Bill and Ted and ultimately win Battle of the Bands.
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey isn't as good as the first movie was, it still has some fun parts and the characters are as inept as they were in the first film, it's just not as funny as the first and seems to lack a little of the charm that made the original as fun and silly as it was.
If given the choice between the two I would always pick the first, and whilst this isn't as good as the first two, it does end up showing you how they become the most bodacious band ever, even if it is a bit of a rushed job at the end of the film. If you have seen the first, watch the second, it's still a fun film.
