Beddy-Bye Time in the Kowhai TreeProduct reviews...
Back in 2010, when the long awaited Toy Story 3 came out in cinemas, there was of course the expectation of one of Pixar's oh so wonderful short films. Day and Night was the short film that accompanied Toy Story 3.
There isn't much in the way of the written word in this book. The basic storyline is that Day is out walking one morning when it finds something strange, attempts to walk past but it wakes up and we are told that it is Night. Day and Night have a little fight but then they discover some great things about each other, like butterflies and fireworks, and then they discover what they create together.
While it is such a simple and lovely book, it doesn't hold the charm of the original short film, but it is still a little delight to read and my kids enjoyed it.
