Recently we've been trying to cut back on what food we buy and try making some thing's for ourselves. My Grandma is Italian and I've always wanted to have a go at making fresh pasta - this pasta machine makes it so easy.
You attach it to the bench to stop it from sliding around when you put the pasta through. We put our pasta through 2-3 times to make sure that its nice and smooth before putting it through the appropriate attachment. It's extremely easy to use and the pasta comes out smooth and evenly cut every time. We've used it for lasagne, spaghetti and fettuccine with great results.
Fresh pasta definitely tastes better than store bought and if it's something that you eat a lot of, then it's definitely worth investing in a pasta machine. Yes it takes a little more time and planning but it's well worth the effort with delicious results every time.
Since my daughter going Gluten Free almost 3 years ago now (when she was 2) we have been spending money on pasta and it not tasting the best. Recently about 9mths ago I did a course and got taught how to make pasta from scratch so went out and got this pasta machine to do all that.
Now the ease of this machine is great its easy to use, put it on the beach tie in down and off you go, make the pasta and slide it though, sometimes you have to slide it though more than once, maybe 2-4 times to get it how you want but that beats kneading it for hours on end.
To get the after pasta (dry stuff) out I just turn the handle more and more to get rid of it all, sometimes a little hot shower though it as well. I love how you can get other attachments for it, so I have brought an attachment. I have now made lasagne sheets, spaghetti and fettuccine and it taste a lot better than buying it. If you look around you can get them on special often and that's how I got one
