Young magicians can hone their card trick craft with this amply illustrated handbook, part of the Magic Handbook series.
Concise instructions and close-up illustrations dictate how to execute all 13 ruses, which are ordered from easiest to most difficult. Throughout, readers can learn skills like "stacking the deck" and "card peeking."
Information about Jean Eugene Robert-Houdin, "the father of modern magic," as well as popular magicians like Criss Angel and David Copperfield, should motivate the serious magician-in-training.

The title says it all!
With a total of 13 card tricks for you to try on your friends and family, this will make a great show to watch as your kids (or yourself) show off the skills (or lack of) as a card Magician.
This book has many different skills to learn, including the art of misdirection and sleight of hand. Some of these can be easy to pull off, but others may take a bit more practice. Not a problem with this book, it has simple to follow instructions and diagrams which makes it easy to understand how to do all the skills it takes to pull off the perfect card trick and to have your audience wondering "how did you do it?"
Another important note that I should add is that some of the card tricks do require props like a rubber band.
As this book has no suggested age group, I would recommend it for ages 8+, but that is just my personal opinion.
I would definitely recommend this book for all the Magic lovers out there!
