The ground-breaking Boy vs Beast adventures continue in this second set of books that take beast-battler Kai Masters to the mysterious border-lands of Beastium. I was absolutely thrilled when these books arrived for I've been waiting for them since I finished reading the series "Battle of the Worlds, the first "Boy vs Beast" series. I thought they were sort of the same as the last four books since they had short sentences and a small comic section in it, but they were different as well.
I found the covers a lot brighter than those of series one, and the beasts looked awesome. I also found that in these books Kai is only allowed to take one weapon instead of the usual two, but I was very excited when I found out that this cool room called the transport chamber was unlocked. I think that these books are better than the last ones ones as they had more action in them, and I liked the cool vehicles that Kai used because some of them could turn into robots and some of them can turn into another vehicle!
I think that these books are suitable for people 8-15 years of age and a personal rating of 10 out of 10 for the fact that they were highly enjoyable, irresistible, and fun and easy to read.
