A Walk A Day - Revised 2023 GuideProduct reviews...
When it comes to short stories, I am not a great fan. A good storyline takes time to build up, and short stories either rush the job, or don't complete it... or so I once thought.
Joy Cowley, a prolific children's author, has managed to pack not one, but TWO short stories into this publication of only 124 pages, yet still keeping each story distinct and complete.
Not one for the tiny kids, nor one for the teenagers, but those in the 'tweenie years will find this a good afternoon read for a rainy day, I am sure.
Overall, quite a nifty wee book, and well worth a look at, especially if you have encountered and enjoyed some of Cowley's works previously.
