This is a 3 DVD set. According to my daughter it is great! It has definitely once again given the Wiggles a run for their money!
The Fairies is a DVD with 2 main fairies, Harmony and Rhapsody, and their friends Elf, Wizzy Wizard and Barnaby the Bizzy Buzzy Bee. All of the cast are very well dressed with striking vibrant costumes. I feel the actors do portray themselves in a great child friendly way. They are all full of enthusiasm, laughter and charm that keep children entertained for hours!
All of the songs are very catchy. The lyrics are very simple and easy for children to grasp. As well as that the songs have also got a simple dance routine with them. The songs were definitely choreographed with young children in mind.
All of the DVDs have a storyline to them. From honesty to self esteem, encouraging friendship, problem solving, decision making to ballet, cooking and time.
It is really wonderful that the DVD isn't just songs after songs. However in saying that I would love to be able to find it on CD so it can be played in the car, as it would make life much easier than travelling with a bored toddler saying are we there yet?!?!
Each DVD has a different theme; there is 1) Fairy Magic 46mins, 2) Fairy Dancing 47mins and 3) Fairy Beach 73 mins.
I have had to start limiting Fairy time; otherwise I might just turn in to a Fairy myself!
The DVD's run for 166mins altogether, so yes very entertaining!
