The first volume in an epic trilogy, Mistress of Dragons is the solo fantasy debut of bestselling author Margaret Weis.
This exciting instalment takes place in a world where men and dragons coexist amid political intrigue and dark magic. Where the uneasy balance of power between men and dragons is on the verge of coming undone, threatening destruction that will pit humans against humans as well as humans against dragons. Humanity's very survival is at risk and the power to hold the chaos at bay rests in the hands of a new and inexperienced Mistress of Dragons.

I have always loved Margaret Weis' books (especially when she teams up with Tracy Hickman), so was rather keen to give "Mistress Of Dragons" a try, and I was not to be disappointed. Yet another fantastic book by this wonderful author, which has me itching to go and track down the second of the trilogy "The Dragon's Son".
An easy read which had me hooked from page one, and one which, even two years down the track (yeah ok- kinda got rather busy and kept forgetting to do the review for this one *blush*), I still remember the entire book quite vividly.
If you're a fan of Weis, dragons, or just fantasy books in general, "Mistress Of Dragons" is definitely worth a read!
