I have always been a fan of seafood on pizzas, so I was overjoyed at the idea of this shrimp topping. Sadly, there has been a seafood option missing from the regulars available from Domino's.
I have had this pizza twice this week, from both of the local branches. The first branch's try at the pizza held together better than the second. The topping seemed to have a life of its own as I and the others I was dining with kept having to put it back on the base.
The combination of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce helped lessen the usual sickliness of the BBQ sauce. The shrimp were plump and juicy. Not overcooked at all, which I was worried would happen.
If this was added to the regular list, and not relegated to the 'that-was-a-bad-idea' basket, I would be happy to purchase it more often, even taking into account the surcharge applied to it.
