In an effort to help my young child with geography homework, so that when I say we are off for a camping trip there isnt the need for big long discussions about where it is. By using this puzzle we are able to get the general idea of the location relative to home. If we also use the drivers atlas or TUMONZ for the details there are rarely any questions. Its great to see a 7 year old going to look up locations all by themselves. The jigsaw is only 96 pieces and the image has little in the way of confusing repeating patterns so my young one managed to assemble it in a matter of minutes. This would be great in a classroom I think or in the home of any family with young kids. Not sure on the price, but if it is around the $20 mark its pretty good value. We had heaps of fun putting it together again and again. its great how kids can find so much fun from the simplest of things. I plan to let this make the journey to school for a day to show off at show'n'tell. Might even get a few more kids fired up about NZ geography.
