How I Met Your Mother: Season Three product reviews

The search for a soul mate has never been so hilariously inappropriate! Thirty-year-old Ted is still looking for Miss Right, but his road to domestic bliss is improbably paved with punk rock girls, tattoos, adult video expos and an epic St. Patrick's Day bender. Meanwhile, as Marshall and Lily adjust to the quirks of married life, the outrageously incorrigible Barney commits a major violation of "The Bro Code." Adding to the mayhem are guests Britney Spears as a vindictive receptionist, and Enrique Iglesias as Robin's latest boy toy!

When season three aired, I heard a lot about it at the time, mainly due to Britney Spears and her guest role within the season after her previous meltdown (not that I blame her), so I knew a little about what was going to happen before I even watched it, but still didn't know enough for it not to be worth watching after the previous seasons. The characters are beginning to grow and develop well, creating more well rounded characters and I'm starting to like them more and more.

Whilst I enjoyed the characters more and actually laughed at least once every second episode (sometimes more) I didn't really find myself enjoying the story lines that much other than the episode with the goat and one small part of an episode that involves a very rushed date, it was so very romantic, the type of thing I would hope someone would do for me. I wasn't too fussed on Ted and Stella's relationship but I was enjoying the dynamic between our main five characters so was happy to plod along and see where things went and just hope that the next season would be better.

I didn't really enjoy this season as much as the last but I will see how the next season goes.

Product reviews for listing 2733: Pie in the Sky - A Second Helping -  Type of Show: Drama

Product image for Pie in the Sky - A Second HelpingSemi-retired policeman Henry Crabbe (Richard Griffiths) would rather be cooking than catching criminals.

Unluckily for him, he happens to be good at both. His boss, Assistant Chief Constable Fisher (Malcolm Sinclair) doesn't want to lose him, and his accountant wife, Margaret (Maggie Steed), worries his new career as a restaurateur won't be financially viable.

While indulging his culinary passions, Crabbe remains on call for those particularly tricky cases that Fisher sends his way. Larger than life as he is, sometimes there just doesn't seem to be enough of Crabbe to go around.
