Grape has always been a favourite flavour of mine in a range of products, so when making an online order through International Foods I was quite excited to see that they had Fanta Grape in stock. I purchased one can along with a couple of other flavours. At $1.80 per can it is a great price. Definitely an affordable once in a while treat.
Being purchased from an online store and being shipped to my house I was a little worried just how the can would go. When the order arrived I opened it and unpacked the cans from all of the wrapping around them. International Foods certainly did their best to keep them safe. The Fanta Grape can did have a couple of wee bumps on it, so I was hoping it wouldn't affect the drink inside. I put the can in the fridge and kept it there for a few days before I decided to have my treat.
As I opened the can I could see and hear that the drink still had a lot of fizz. That was fantastic as I was concerned that being moved around during shipping might make it flat. I was met with the most amazing grape flavour instantly! It reminded me of lollies from my high school days. Everyone was mad on the tangy apple lollies, and they did a grape version too. They were my favourites and this smell brought memories from those days back. As I took a sip I loved what I was tasting. I wouldn't say that it is a natural grape flavour, but stands true to the flavour you usually get in grape flavoured products. I enjoyed it so much that the can was soon empty and I was wishing I had ordered more! Anyway who is a fan of grape flavoured lollies would enjoy this drink.
