I had watched quite a few episodes of Criminal Minds before and really enjoyed it, I like the fact that the show delves into the mind and behavior of the killer, criminal etc. and uses that to try and catch them. I recently started to re-watch the show right from the very first episode and we are thrown right into things with an already well established team with one new member (which works well as she would symbolize us as the newbies to the story). Each members role is well defined and everyone woks well together.

We go through rapists, serial killers, bombers, sniper, arsonists etc. so there is a great range of stories in this series and the characters don't have an easy time with what they go through and see in their investigations of these criminals, which is good, they all are human and they don't always go home happy at the end of the day. The stories are gritty and they don't hold back, there is blood and gore but nothing too over the top or gratuitous, we get what is necessary for the story but no more.

I've really enjoyed this season of Criminal Minds and I'm looking forward to watching season two.
