Whittakers artisan collection of chocolates is this range of chocolates with a kiwi feel and the most awesome sounding flavors imaginable. I have tried all flavors in the series and admit that this was the one I was the most excited about. Ages ago you could buy Chilli chocolate Tim Tams, they were absolutely devine. My most favorite biscuit ever, and as such as I was super excited about this chocolate.
But sadly it did not meat my expectations. In fact I was so let down by it, it made me sad lol I expected this most amazing blend of Chilli and chocolate that was going to really treat the taste buds to something extra special. Turns out the keyword in this flavor chocolate is the word 'pepper' here. Yip you can taste chilli, you can even taste the chocolate but what over rides everything is pepper I did not know the chilli pepper tastes like, well, pepper lol its wrong :(
OK so perhaps chili and chocolate seems wrong too, but pepper and chocolate is just really wrong. The pepper flavor is far to strong, it over rides everything. Yet as much as I dislikes it, I could not stop eating it. The more I tried it, the more I told myself I did not like it, but the more I had to eat it. To be honest it was weird. Kind of addictive lol and what's worse is, it was not my favorite, I was not a big fan, but I have, and will again, bought it since lol
