Determined to see this DVD the night it arrived I put it on almost immediately so my husband and I could watch it - this was perhaps a mistake on my half as I was pretty tired already and it was a week night so we had work the next day. The movie started out great but it wasn't long before my attention was lost, my mind wondering and I had picked up my phone to look at my emails. After another half hour or so we gave up and went to bed. The next night, determined to try again I put the DVD back on to start where we had left it - ashamedly I realised I didn't even know what was happening. Another night later with the weekend ahead, fully relaxed I started this DVD again and this time watched it with my full attention!
All false starts aside - this movie really did prove to be rather funny. Although the movie did loose my attention several times, I feel this was more down to the moods I was in than anything else. The movie contains good acting, lighting, music and a reasonable story line. It explores lots around gay guys so if you aren't comfortable with this then this isn't the movie for you. It was nothing full on (its rated an M but there was no full on bedroom scenes or anything like that) so we didn't have any issues. Personally I didn't find it laugh out loud rolling round holding your stomach funny but there was definitely some good laughs.
My husband and I both thought it was quite a different story line - still your classic comedy/love story/end of school that many seem to follow but definitely had a twist in there. Fully recommend this to others as a light hearted movie to watch - great for Friday night viewing ![]()
