We love the Guess How Much I love You books and they have proved to be a bit of a long term favourite in our house. Miss Three especially was very excited to see this DVD. She watched part of this DVD pretty much every day last week during afternoon rest time (aka mummy trying to get housework done time) and then had a big session watching the whole 87 minutes with her big sisters in the weekend. Miss Seven declared it was for babies and then sat and watched the whole DVD engrossed and really enjoyed it! Miss Five and Miss Three definitely enjoyed it.
The episodes only run for about 10 minutes so they are very short. With a total running time of 87 minutes there are 8 episodes Field of Flowers, Fly the Nest, Feather your Nest, Rainy Days, Taste of Sunset, You for a Day, Big Storm and Plum Summer. Because the episodes are so short they are perfect for watching a few whilst dinner is cooking or whilst I try to get some housework done and then saying time to turn off after the next episode knowing that will be less than 10 minutes away.
This particular DVD focusses on the wonders of nature. Lots of exploring all the magic of their environment. I really love the relationship between Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare. It is so refreshing to have a DVD that is just so loving and nice and that you don't need to worry about the content. None of the content is scary for Miss Three and I hope that my girls are absorbing all the positive messages in this DVD!
This DVD is great value for money and I would definitely recommend this for both boys and girls especially in the under 6 years age group.
