Nutolene has been a staple source of protein in my life. Living with my mum half the time, who is vegetarian, this was always a well liked food.

One of the great things about Nutolene is that you can eat it as is, no need to cook it first, giving it a great range of uses and it will never give you food poisoning. Nutolene is one solid piece in the can, so sometimes you may need to take off both ends of the can to get it out. Once out you can slice and dice it as you wish.

What have I used this in...? Well, in salads it adds a nice nutty taste without any hard chunky bits. In stir-fries, especially Cashew Masala, it's the perfect compliment to the sauce. My husbands favourite is to put it in a quiche, the texture goes along well with the egg and it adds a nice overall taste to the dish.

This is something that you can eat cold, hot or right out of the tin. I have yet to find a dish that it doesn't go well in.

Product image for Down to Earth Organic Chutney - TamarindSweet and sour chutney is a delicious condiment with spring rolls, samosas, chips, crackers, samosas, pakoras, dahi vadas, bhelpuri and any kind of chat. This is also delicious as a dipping sauce for French fries and as a spread over crackers.

Just a dash of this stunning sweet and sour chutney blend spruces up almost all chaat recipes enhances the flavour by leaps and bounds making it a key factor for complete chaat experience. This zesty sweet and tangy dip recipe calls for the use of tamarind, jaggery and roasted cumin powder. Its taste is absolutely lip-smacking.
