Looking for an easy to use yet cheap apple sauce, then this is the one for you. An easy to open jar of flavor filled apple sauce, complete with no added sugar. But do not be put off by that fact, as fruit has its own natural sugars so it is not a tart or sour sauce, but one that is a great balance of sweetness and tartness, making it the perfect accompaniment to any pork dish...or if you are like me, to anything at all lol

And if you like to experiment a little with your apple sauce, this is really nice mixed with some sour cream to add a slightly different flavour to pork or chicken dishes. It can also be awesome used in baking. In fact, if you replace half the butter content in your cake, muffin, or cookie recipes with apple sauce, it is a much healthier option. I find it gives a really great taste to muffins and cakes and makes them a whole lot more moist. My kids love it too, especially as a frozen treat or added to porridge during winter.

At only $2.50 a small jar, it is great for those on a budget too, and of course, when used as a butter replacement as mentioned above, you are saving a lot in the weekly grocery budget, especially given the current price of butter Sad Icon. A great healthy versatile little product that should be on every ones grocery list.
