I love this book. It is definitely a family favourite and appeals to everyone. Grover is so scared of the last page of the book because he has heard there is a monster at the end of the book. He tries to stop you by pleading and putting up brick walls or tying the page together but because the children are so strong and want to find this 'monster' they can still turn the page.

It is beautifully told and very funny. I love the font through out the book and you can yell and scream when a page is turned and you can cry while he is pleading you not to turn another page - it really is beautiful. From the age of three my daughter has been able to reread this book (probably because we read it so much) and do the various voices, granted doesn't get all of the words right but does fantastic voices throughout the story.

The pictures are awesome and show the fear in Grovers face. I especially love when you turn the page and the bricks full down he 'tells you not only are you very strong but your making a terrible mess' which is a great lesson to learn. We all love the last page and everyone wants to say the line....... but you will have to read it to find out what it is.
