Is it an ice cream or is it a cheesecake? It really is a perfect combination of both cheesecake and ice cream carefully prepared to perfection to create the ultimate dessert based on 2 popular dessert choices ice cream and cheesecake. I have to be honest and say that when it comes to buying ice cream we more often than not buy Tip Top as it always seems to be a creamier texture than other brand son the marker, and it also seems to have the biggest selection of flavours than any other brand. However when I went grocery shopping my partner who loves ice cream happened to be with me (which is a bit of a rear occasion as he usually tries to get out of the weekly grocery shop). The Much Moore Premium ice cream was on sale as was the Tip Top and when I picked up a tub of Tip Top Cookies and Cream to put in the trolley my partner who had been eyeing up this lemon cheesecake flavoured ice cream quickly said he wanted to try this instead, so I agreed.
The first time we had this ice cream it was really hard as it was pretty much eaten along with a chocolate pudding as soon as we got home from the supermarket. On this occasion you could tell it was much like any other ice cream super frozen but would melt in your mouth with a smooth creamy after taste. The flavour was way better than I had expected and it tasted EXACTLY like a lemon cheesecake, the ice cream itself tasted just like a cheesecake filling only frozen, the lemon ripple was zesty but not sour and the vanilla cake pieces were a good size and super tasty like a perfect cheesecake base without any coconut to it.
The next time we ate this ice cream it was more of a cheesecake filling consistency rather than a frozen ice cream texture, if you were to make a biscuit base and fill it with this ice cream, i'm pretty sure people wouldn't know it was an ice cream, it really is that good. Though I still love Tip Top I will definetely buy this again from time to time, if you liek cheesecake this ones for you!
