Its beer but not as you know it? A light lager beer combined with natural Lemon and Lime fruit juices create a refreshing citrus hit with the smooth barley malt flavour in support.

I had been given some Export Citrus beer at a shared lunch for my speech group, on my birthday (tee hee hee
) and had rather enjoyed it so when we were at the grocery store today I suggested to my husband that we buy some. Upon further browsing of the store we found this Haazen brand and saw that they had a citrus beer too and at roughly four dollars less we figured why the heck not? Now, I'm not a beer person, but the citrus aspect to was what drew me and too the bitter beer aspect away, this Haagen Citrus beer did not dissapoint in that department!
This comes in a pack of twelve botles, which is a good amount for the price and works out well. The label suits the drink well, the green blends in well but due to the gold and white it isn't lost in the green of the glass, then add to that the yellow for the citrus and this is a nice looking drink. Giving it a try I couldn't find a strong taste of lemon, it is the most subtle hint, really I could only tell it was there at the end of swallowing it but that was ok, I didn't want majorly strong. I didn't find this bitter at all and whilst I didn't love it, it is a nice refreashing drink for what is a hot and muggy night, and whilst I can't see myself running to the store in desparation for more, I will finish off the box and if offered this in the future I won't be passing it up.
